Well, we've made it to March, I've heard that there will be madness. I won't be involved in that, but I will be involved in checking in on my goals.
Goal Number One - Read 12 books: Reading went fine for February too, I've hit one book per month, which should make getting to my goal of 12 possible if I can keep it up. It would also be good if I could surpass that goal and get back into my reading like I did in the past. Might have to do more reading in the summer to bump it up. So far, my two books are:
- The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood (311 pages)
- The Impossible Fortune by Richard Osman (368 pages)
Goal Number Two - Complete my 5k training program: This was not something that I focused on at all during February. But that's ok, because it's not something that has to be done right now. The entire program is six or eight weeks, so there is still time, and as I said after January, with play rehearsals I'm not keen on trying this while I'm working 12 hours a day (soon to be more as opening night approaches).
Goal Number Three - Blog more: It's easy to make it one month, but February didn't go as well. But I'm going to catch up with some retroactive blogs that I do. I've got three posts to catch up on.
Goal Number Four - Focus on fitness by hitting 10,000 steps a day average for the year: It was a big miss on this one. My average for the month was significantly lower than it was for January. But, lets hope that February was the low-water mark.
- January average: 8,966
- February average: 6,635
Goal Number Five - Improve my social calendar: For February we did have two events, just a little game night and a friend over for dinner, but that's all we needed, two events.
Goal Number Six - Usable media memories: I do not have any new updates on this one at the moment. I also won't have much to do for next month either because theatre season is really hard to find time for anything else.
Goal Number Seven - Have seven new experiences: February didn't have much going on out of the ordinary, so I don't really have anything for this one. I've continued my watching of the original Star Trek, so maybe when I finish season one I'll put it on the list and then updated it as I go through the seasons. I don't know if it's quite the experience one might thing for this goal, but it's something I've never done and something I like so it's fine. Plus it's my goal so who am I even arguing with? Some ghostly blog reader in my mind?
Two months down.
